Do you ever find yourself at work, not even close to lunch hour, but starving even after having a well-balanced breakfast? This happens to me all the time. I always bring some kind of snack to work to hold me over until lunch. It’s usually some kind of granola bar, nut mix, or muffin.
My last trip to SoCal was very productive, in regards to being a foodie. I had so many delicious sweets and meals (yes, sweets come first!) that I didn’t get to try all that I wanted to when I was there. I guess I’m just lucky enough to even try these places. I shall go back and try something different when I have the chance.
One of the reasons why I love making cookies so much is because each person I have ever spoken to has an all-time favorite cookie. If you haven’t read my blog in the past, my favorite cookie of all-time are chocolate chip cookies. It could also be a white chocolate cranberry cookie or peanut butter cookie.
M- told us about this tourist attraction. She said everyone who goes to Portland goes to Voodoo Doughnut. It’s quite funny though, because she’s lived there for 10 years and she just recently went here for the first time. She went with W- and I to here for her second time.
I would suggest going to their website and deciding what you want because the menu is so tiny!
Yes, I have a clear picture of the menu, but you can’t read it when you are at the back of the shop!
Voodoo gets extremely popular apparently too!
All of you just might have figured out that I love strawberries. I love to eat or drink anything that is or tastes like strawberries. I don’t know why, but it’s just so juicy, sweet, tangy, and tasty all at the same time. Now that it is strawberry season, I see a bunch of strawberry recipes. I was so ecstatic when I saw these, but I absolutely jumped for joy when I saw a recipe for strawberry cookies! I saw this recipe on a bunch of food blogs that I read, so I knew it had to be good. I had to make them right away and it was so perfect, because I had about 3 pounds of strawberries sitting my the fridge.
Last month, my mom and I went to visit my brother down in Irvine. Why, do you ask? Well, for starters, he goes to school down there. He’s a junior in college. It’s also my first time visiting his school. Finally, right? Well, every time my parents went, I always had a reason to stay behind. I figured it was finally time to check it out.
It was also an excuse for a mini-vacation and all the different selections of food. I had a plenty to eat while I was down there and was very pleased at where I ate. Let’s take a look at a few of the most enjoyable places.
This past weekend, I went on a spontaneous trip to Beverly Hills, CA. I was so excited to go because of the wonderful food I get to try. I’ve heard about so many great bakeries that I just had to try them, which means many food reviews to come.
