Joan’s on Third

I was so lucky that Joan’s on Third just happened to be walking distance from our hotel. We ate here for lunch both Saturday and Sunday. I must admit that we didn’t really have a lunch on Saturday… it was more like a dessert. Dessert before dinner? Guilty!

I got this Cloud cupcake with a Strawberry-Banana Smoothie (which was very popular, I might add). Yes, not the best of combinations, but I do love chocolate and strawberries.

The smoothie tasted like any other smoothie. Nothing too special. It did taste good though.

I really loved the Cloud cupcake because it was the first that I ever had and you get a marshmellow-ey surprise in the center.

It’s such a fun little cupcake. I enjoyed every bit of it.

I really wish they had something like Joan’s on Third up in Nor Cal, because not only do they sell baked goods, they are a deli and market in one. Isn’t that just the smartest thing ever! They have lots of sweets and meats and cheeses you can take home and enjoy. I decided to take advantage of this and bought myself a treat to take home. I saw these Sweet Cinnamon Walnut Crisps that look so delicious that I decided to get those. It tastes just like raisin bread, but it’s more of a chip texture. Neat, huh?

The next day for lunch, I had a Tarragon Chicken Salad sandwich. Man, was it the best sandwich I have ever tasted. It had this bit of sweetness to it and the sweet cucumbers definitely made the sandwich taste even more great!

I absolutely adore this place and I wish they had one here in Nor Cal!
